As a woman entrepreneur in the beauty and wellness industry, what challenges did you face while building your brand?

Starting and growing Lemon Salon came with its share of challenges. From securing investment to building a skilled team and standing out in a highly competitive market, every step required resilience. As a woman entrepreneur, I also had to navigate societal expectations and prove that beauty isn’t just about glamour—it’s a thriving business sector. But through determination, a strong vision, and a focus on quality, I’ve been able to establish Lemon Salon as a trusted brand.

How does Lemon Salon cater to the evolving beauty needs of modern Indian women?

Indian women today are looking for beauty solutions that are not just trendy but also effective, safe, and personalized. At Lemon Salon, we stay ahead by offering the latest beauty treatments, customized skincare, and expert consultations. We understand that every woman is unique, so we focus on services that enhance individual beauty rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. Our goal is to help women feel their best, whether it’s through a simple haircut or an advanced skincare treatment.

What advice would you give to aspiring women entrepreneurs looking to break into the beauty and wellness sector?

Believe in your vision and stay committed to it. The beauty and wellness industry is vast, but there’s always room for innovation and quality service. Do your research, invest in the right skills, and don’t hesitate to take calculated risks. Most importantly, focus on creating a brand that genuinely cares for its clients. Success comes when your customers trust and value your services.

What role do you think self-care and grooming play in boosting women’s confidence and empowerment?

Self-care isn’t just about looking good—it’s about feeling good and embracing self-confidence. Grooming and beauty rituals can be powerful tools in helping women feel empowered in their personal and professional lives. When a woman takes time for herself, whether through skincare, hairstyling, or relaxation treatments, it reflects in her confidence, energy, and the way she carries herself. At Lemon Salon, we encourage women to prioritize self-care as an essential part of their well-being.

Sustainability is a growing trend in the beauty industry. Is Lemon Salon taking any steps toward eco-friendly beauty solutions?

Yes, we recognize the importance of sustainability and are taking steps to incorporate eco-friendly beauty solutions. We are exploring the use of organic, cruelty-free, and chemical-free products that are both effective and kind to the environment. Additionally, we are working towards reducing plastic waste by using sustainable packaging and encouraging our clients to opt for environmentally responsible beauty choices. Sustainability is a journey, and we are committed to making conscious efforts to contribute positively.

This Women’s Day, what message would you like to share with women striving to achieve their dreams?

Dream big, stay determined, and don’t let self-doubt hold you back. As women, we often juggle multiple roles, but we must also prioritize our aspirations. Surround yourself with supportive people, keep learning, and embrace challenges as stepping stones to success. Whether in business, personal growth, or self-care, every small step matters. You are capable, powerful, and deserving of all the success you work for.
