Unchi Udaan initiative

The Unchi Udaan program operates in the city of Udaipur where bright students from humble backgrounds are selected through Shiksha Sambal Foundation where they are provided with free coaching, aiding their academic journey while also overlooking their holistic development. Along with their academic progress, these students have developed their personality and confidence equal to that of any urban child. Guided by the technical partner, Resonance Eduventures Pvt. Ltd, they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to clear the IIT entrance exam.

Hindustan Zinc’s commitment to education goes beyond Unchi Udaan, as the company continues to collaborate with government schools across Rajasthan through initiatives like Shiksha Sambal. Around 0.32 million women and children are benefitted through specific education programmes such as Khushi Nand Ghar, Shiksha Sambal, Unchi Udaan, etc. and women empowerment programmes like Sakhi self-help groups and microenterprises. This concerted effort ensures that people from all walks of life have access to high-quality education.
