Aditya-L1’s Spectacular Space Selfies: Earth and Moon in the Frame

Aditya-L1’s Spectacular Space Selfies: As it continues its voyage to Lagrange Point 1, which is outside of the Earth’s orbit, the Indian spacecraft Aditya-L1 has taken control of both the Earth and the Moon. Before beginning its mission to reach Lagrange Point 1, the Indian Aditya-L1 spacecraft took stunning pictures of Earth and the Moon from space.

Aditya L1 was launched on September 2 from the Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh by ISRO. It is currently traveling to the Sun-Earth L1 point, a special place in space where the gravitational pulls of the Sun and the Earth are equal. India’s first solar observatory mission is called Aditya-L1.

Before traveling about 1.5 million kilometers to its new home in the coming days, it has finished two orbits of the planet. ISRO has equipped Aditya L1 carrier spacecraft with seven payloads. These payloads will research the Sun’s corona, chromosphere, and other aspects of the sun. Besides, it will gauge the strength of the magnetic field in the vicinity of L1.

What is the objective of Aditya L1 mission?

Aditya L1’s primary objective is to study solar activities. Aditya L1 is launched with the goal of reading solar activities and its impact on the solar system. Due to the spacecraft’s advantageous position, it will be possible to observe the Sun continuously without any interruptions or interference from lunar or Earthly occurrences. It is believed that it would offer helpful information and clear images as it gets closer to Lagrange Point 1.

A new chapter in India’s space exploration history will be written as the spacecraft progresses toward L1. The demanding objectives of the Aditya-L1 mission are all focused on understanding the Sun. Studying the Sun’s outermost layers, the chromosphere and corona, in-depth is one of the main objectives. This in turn will let us understand what warms the outer layers of the sun and how such tremendous amount of heat is generated.

Please return for more information when Aditya-L1 carries out its revolutionary mission in the inner solar system.
