IGNOU Extends Admission: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for the January admission cycle 2024 for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs. Interested candidates can apply on the official website ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
According to the updated timeline, students now have until February 29 to apply for the January 2024 admission cycle.

Step 1: Visit IGNOU’s official website – onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘New Registration’ button available on the homepage to register. If you have already registered on the portal, you can log in using your username and password.
Step 3: Then, carefully select your program (wherever options are provided).
Step 4: Fill in all the necessary details and make the online payment.
Step 5: Submit the form and save the page for future reference.
Registration for January 2024 had started on December 5 and was supposed to end on January 29. It was then extended to February 15 and now further extended till February 29.
If candidates face difficulty registering on the portal, they can contact the regional center to update their account settings/email ID or mobile number.
