JEE Main 2026 Registration Begins for January Session: Apply Online at jeemain.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2026 application form for the January session on October 31, 2025. Eligible students aiming for admission to top engineering colleges including NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs can now apply online at the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main 2026 Registration Date

  • Last date to apply for JEE Main January 2026: November 27, 2025 (9 PM)

  • Fee payment deadline: November 27, 2025 (11:50 PM)

  • Application mode: Online only

Candidates can pay the exam fee using credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI through the payment gateway on the portal.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Schedule (Two Sessions)

Session Exam Dates
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 January 1 – 30, 2026
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 April 1 – 10, 2026

The exam will be conducted for:

  • Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech admissions

  • Paper 2: B.Arch and B.Planning admissions

Candidates can choose up to four exam cities near their present or permanent address. NTA may modify the city allocation based on administrative needs. International applicants must choose at least one exam city in India.

Documents to Prepare Before Filling JEE Main 2026 Form

NTA advises candidates to ensure the following documents are updated and valid:

  • Aadhaar card

  • UDID (for PwD candidates)

  • Category certificates (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL)

This is to avoid rejection or discrepancies during admission and counselling.
