PPC 2024 on Jan 29; UGC Urges Universities for Live Streaming

PM Exam Discussion 2024:  The 7th edition of the Pariksha Pe Charcha, PM Exam Discussion 2024, hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is scheduled for January 29. The Prime Minister will engage in a conversation with students, teachers, and parents at 11 a.m. at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. According to official notifications, a total of 2,26,31,698 students registered for the PM Exam Discussion 2024.

As per the MyGov portal, more than 205.62 lakh students, 14.93 lakh teachers, and 5.69 lakh parents have enrolled for the PM Exam Discussion 2024. During the program, there is a possibility of around 4,000 students having a conversation with PM Modi.

PM Modi, during the PMPC 2024 program, will share advice and suggestions on stress-free ways to excel in board exams. According to the official website of PMPC 2024, the purpose of the initiative is to create an environment where the unique personality of each child is celebrated, encouraged, and given the freedom to express themselves fully.

PM Exam Discussion 2024: Live Streaming in HEIs

UGC has urged Higher Education Institutions to make arrangements for live streaming of the PPC program on January 29, 2024. “Higher education institutions are requested to display the above at prominent locations and broadcast information to students and faculty members,” reads the official notice by UGC.

The telecast of the PPC 2024 interaction will be aired on DD National, DD News, and DD India along with major private channels. According to the UGC official notice, “Broadcast will also be available through live web streaming on platforms like radio channels (All India Radio Medium Wave, All India Radio FM channel), PMO, Ministry of Education, Doordarshan, MyGov.in websites. And MoE’s YouTube channel, Facebook Live, and MOE’s self-promotion channel.”

PM Exam Discussion 2024: Kits for Students

A total of 2,050 selected participants will be provided with PM Exam Discussion kits containing an Exam Warriors book written by the Prime Minister in Hindi and English, along with a certificate. The selection of participants will be based on their questions on the MyGov portal.
