5 Stunning New Restaurants in Bengaluru You Must Visit for Their Bold Interiors

Bengaluru’s culinary landscape continues to evolve, with new restaurants that not only serve inventive food but also celebrate stunning design. From whimsical pizza spaces to luxurious rooftop lounges, these new openings blend ambience, architecture, and cuisine to create immersive dining experiences.

Here are five of the most beautifully designed restaurants you need to visit in the city.

1. Daysie: A Playful, All-Day Café & Bar

Daysie, designed by Studio Camarada, brings a lively interpretation of the modern pub. Spread across two levels, the space blurs the line between indoors and outdoors while protecting diners from harsh sunlight and rain.

The interiors feature:

  • Elegant arches and soft curves

  • Artistic murals and curated light fixtures

  • A dramatic double-height ceiling on the ground floor

  • Distinct seating zones for intimate or lively gatherings

Each floor showcases a striking bar as its centrepiece. A sculptural staircase connects both levels, offering views of the street and lower floor. With its pops of colour, mood lighting, and thoughtful detailing, Daysie transforms seamlessly from a bright morning café to a vibrant evening bar.

2. Sozo Skyline: Candlelit Luxury Above the City

Perched high above Bengaluru with a panoramic view of the skyline, Sozo Skyline blends art, design, and pan-Asian cuisine. Spread across 4,500 sq ft and three levels, this fine-dining restaurant—designed by co-founder Prajwal Lokesh—offers an elevated sensory experience.

Design highlights include:

  • Soft, ambient lighting inspired by inverted candle installations

  • Sleek, modern furnishings

  • Vibrant upholstery and patterned seating

  • Moon-like circular bulbs for a dreamy glow

  • Large glass panels revealing lush greenery outside

The restaurant’s name, derived from the Greek word for “salvation,” mirrors its calming yet luxurious atmosphere.

3. Nido: A Rooftop Escape Inspired by a Bird’s Nest

Located atop a boutique hotel, Nido is a rooftop lounge conceptualised by Studio8 Designs. With 3,500 sq ft of space and a striking 20-ft ceiling, the restaurant evokes the warmth and comfort of a bird’s nest.

Key interior features:

  • Handwoven lantana twig canopy forming a cocoon-like structure

  • Feather-inspired art installation suspended overhead

  • Retractable roof offering shaded daytime dining and star-filled night ambience

  • Terrazzo flooring in earthy, green tones resembling foliage

  • Woven chairs and textured walls

  • Warm lighting within arched niches

Nido’s organic materials and seamless layout create a grounded, nature-inspired retreat above the city.

4. Serious Slice: A Chic Pizzeria with Retro Charm

Serious Slice, crafted by Studio Camarada, brings a playful yet refined design sensibility to its 1,500 sq ft pizza space. The pastel palette paired with accents of black and red sets the tone for a whimsical dining experience.

Its standout elements include:

  • Bold stripes and checkerboard patterns running across floors and walls

  • Varied seating—from cosy booths to a central community table

  • High stools and counter seating with views of the wood-fire oven

  • Red-rimmed windows framing greenery outside

  • Carefully curated lighting and furniture ensuring both comfort and visual appeal

The design creates a fun, energetic backdrop that enhances the pizzeria’s warm and casual vibe.

5. Bricks Bar & Restaurant: Industrial Chic with a Rooftop Setting

Covering nearly 4,000 sq ft and seating up to 120 guests, Bricks Bar & Restaurant adds a stylish, relaxed venue to Bengaluru’s dining scene. Designed by an in-house team led by architect Nishant Choukiker, the covered rooftop offers a welcoming environment for groups.

Design highlights:

  • Raw industrial aesthetic using steel, concrete, and exposed brick

  • Warm wooden accents and metal details

  • Plants framing the seating areas

  • Mixed lighting—warm and cool—enhancing texture and depth

  • Distinct flooring zones: wood-finish centre and checkered patterns on the sides

  • An emerald-green bar panel that elevates the overall look

  • Transparent monsoon blinds that keep the space connected to nature and city views

Bricks balances casual comfort with modern industrial appeal, making it ideal for laid-back evenings.
