Nara’s New Thai Summer Menu is a Masterclass in Thai Cuisine

This summer, Nara Thai brings the essence of Thailand’s tropical bounty to the table with a vibrant new offering: the Thai Summer Menu, a limited-time showcase of dishes and drinks inspired by the richness, versatility, and sheer delight of mango. Available from 1st May to 30th June 2025, this seasonal menu reimagines traditional Thai flavours with an inventive flair — every bite and sip layered with the sweet, spicy, and tangy notes of the country’s cherished “King of Fruits.”

From starters to cocktails and desserts, the menu is a refreshing journey through contrasting textures and bold, sun-soaked flavours. Begin with the Mango Chilli Basil Cold Soup, a chilled blend that’s as invigorating as it is unexpected — sweet mango, aromatic Thai basil, and just the right kick of Thai chilli. The Mango Avocado Ceviche, served on crispy rice sheets, offers a playful contrast of creaminess, crunch, and citrus-spiked spice.

Seafood lovers will relish the Grilled Seabass, perfectly balanced with ripened mango and chilli cucumber, while the Mango Red Curry — available in vegetarian, chicken, and prawn options — delivers depth and warmth without overpowering the fruit’s natural sweetness.

Nara’s bar team carries the same tropical spirit to the drinks menu, spotlighting fresh Thai produce through a progressive cocktail lens. The Siam Heat fuses raw mango, tequila, and Thai chilli for a fiery sip with lasting vibrancy, while the Golden blends ripe mango with citrus and floral notes in a nod to Thailand’s golden hour. The Chiang Mai Cloud, featuring mezcal and mango purée, offers a smoky twist on tropical minimalism.

For non-alcoholic options, the Mango Melon Fizz and Passionfruit Sour are juicy, refreshing picks, while the Golden Thai Boba and Milo Boba offer creamy comfort with a playful finish. The meal finds its finale in the Mango Sorbet, topped with a ginger chilli jam and buttered crumb — a chilled, spicy-sweet sendoff that lingers beautifully.
