A self-taught chef, Ritu Dalmia is renowned for her delicious Italian delicacies and owns popular restaurants like Diva: The Italian Restaurant in Delhi and MotiMahal in Mumbai. Not just that, she has also authored several books such as “Italian Khana,” “Diva Green: A Vegetarian Cook Book,” and much more.
Before the current season of MasterChef India, many were unfamiliar with this esteemed Indian woman chef. However, she made a mark by becoming the first Indian woman to win a Michelin star. After completing her degree at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, she worked with notable figures like Chef Gaggan Anand, Gordon Ramsay, and René Redzepi. Kainaz Contractor has made significant strides in the food industry, progressing from a restaurant manager to an assistant food editor at BBC Good Food. Alongside her successful career, she is the proud owner of Café Dori in Chattarpur, New Delhi, a paradise for coffee lovers.
Pankaj Bhadouria was once a school teacher but left her job to participate in MasterChef India Season 1, where she emerged victorious, earning her name in the industry. Since then, she has hosted several cooking TV shows like “Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka,” “Kifayati Kitchen,” “3 Course with Pankaj,” “Rasoi Se – Pankaj Bhadouria Ke Saath,” and has authored many popular cookbooks that have remained at the top of the charts.
