Grand Hyatt Mumbai in collaboration with Hyatt Regency Mansarovar presents an exclusive culinary experience at the Speciality India restaurant, Soma. The association between two hotels brings to life the legendary flavors of Rajputana. This special dining event will feature an exquisite menu inspired by the royal kitchens of Mewar and Jaisalmer, showcasing dishes prepared by the Master Chef himself from Hyatt Regency Jaipur Mansarovar.
The event promises a memorable journey through time, where guests will indulge in dishes like Jaisamandi Machhi, a kingfish delicately prepared with coriander, gram flour, and yogurt, capturing Rajputana’s authentic flavors. The Jodhpuri Raan, a smoked leg of lamb slow cooked with ‘Bilona Ghee’, roast onion, and spices, offers a royal indulgence, while the rich Malai Ghewar, made with flour, ghee, condensed milk, saffron, and rose water, blends sweetness and tradition.
For the vegetarian thali, the Silbatta Subj Ghutwa combines pounded vegetables, cashews, almonds, and saffron for an aromatic taste of Rajasthan, while the Chene Ka Cheetal, with cultured milk, yogurt, spices, and cashews, offers a creamy, savory delight.
With each dish crafted using time-honoured techniques and indigenous spices, this feast is inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Rajputana, making it an unforgettable culinary journey through history.
