What is your mission and what unique value does your company offer learners and educators?
Uplifters is a skill-based ed-tech startup with a “pay after placement” model that aims to uplift India’s students from tier 2 and tier 3 cities and colleges by providing them with the right skills and training and helping them land a good job. We are a student accelerator that bridges the gap between college curriculum and industry pedagogy.
We are calling ourselves a skill based edtech startup because we provide training programs or courses that focus on developing specific skills that are in demand in the job market. These skills can vary widely depending on the industry, such as software development, data science, digital marketing and graphic design. All our mentors are from good colleges and they are currently working in industry, so an industry-expert guides all the students and makes them industry ready.
How does your platform ensure the quality and credibility of educational content and courses?
We at Uplifters work with competent subject matter experts from IIT, NIT, BITS, DTU, and other prestigious universities to develop, review, and update educational content to ensure that it is accurate and in compliance with current trends and standards. In order to increase student engagement and knowledge retention, excellent teaching and learning methodologies like active learning methods, multimedia integration, and interactive assessments are being used. We carry out in-depth user testing with a varied set of Industry Experts to gather feedback on the material and courses, which gives us valuable data about prospective improvements and enables us to spot any gaps or inconsistencies in the course content.
How does your company bridge the gap between digital learning skills and traditional learning?
By pay after placement model we mean after completing the training program, our team assists learners in finding job opportunities related to the skills they have acquired. They are offered career counseling, resume building, interview preparation, and networking support to increase the chances of successful job placement. During enrollment we only charge an enrollment fee, The complete fee of the program is paid after the learner secures a job or placement related to the skills they acquired.
What differentiates you from other ed-tech companies?
At Uplifters, we have mentors who are alumni of IIT, NIT, BITS, DTU and other renowned colleges and are working in top MNCs. We are developing a learning ecosystem of various courses for the students. We strive to provide students with cutting edge technology knowledge and skills in order to help them reach their full potential and unlock the best opportunities. Our goal is to uplift India’s untapped and undervalued talent and prepare them for some of the most demanding jobs.

Currently, we are working on a B2C model. We are providing Pay after Placement and Placement assistance courses to the students along with some short crash courses. All classes are live classes.

What are your future plans?
In future we aim to introduce new courses that have more demand in the industry like cybersecurity and AI/ML. We are also aiming to go B2B along with B2C. We would like to tie up with some institutes in tier 2 or tier 3 cities to help students in their placement. We can become their skilling partner with our placement assistance courses.
